it's bookshelf cleaning day...

and I have a few books I'm not keeping.  If you're at all interested, and you live in the US of A, all you have to do is to leave a comment with the book(s) you want (take as many as you'd like), then follow up with an email (oakesn at gmail dot com).  I will handle the postage so there's no gimmick whatsoever, no hidden catch. It's not a contest - I just want new homes for the books. These are like new, so they're in nearly perfect shape.

Here we go:
Oryx and Crake / The Year of the Flood / MaddAdam - separate books, all by Margaret Atwood
The Shining Girls, by Lauren Beukes
Magic for Beginners, by Kelly Link
The Golem and the Jinni, by Helene Wecker
Alif the Unseen, by G. Willow Wilson

Every book you take allows me more shelf space, so don't be shy. And if you come looking and find nothing you want, well, I'll be back again shortly with more. Everyone loves free books, right!

See, I'm back already - I left off

Summer House With Swimming Pool, by Herman Koch
Barracuda, by Christos Tsiolkas

Say what you will, but at least try to be nice about it.
