I'll be checking it out today.

This is definitely more like the Moore of Lamb (which I loved) and less like some of the more recent stuff (meh). I do hope you enjoy it!NancyOhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12027036137062767840noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1008954639175647714.post-61903271102189498432012-05-30T03:57:59.753-04:002012-05-30T03:57:59.753-04:00You give a really nicely balanced review here, tou...You give a really nicely balanced review here, touching on the things that would affect a reader's experience of the book-both negatively and positively. I've enjoyed most of the Moore books I've read, though one or 2 recents have missed the mark for me. I first heard about this one on The Book Report Radio Show (www.bookreportradio(.)com), Elaine played an extract of the audio book and it sounds like he's up to his usual antics! I have bought the book (decided not to go with the audio version, as I'd heard the hardcopy was a beautiful presentation-let me concur-it is!),haven't got to read it yet, but your review has prompted me to get going with it! If reader's are unfamiliar with his writing style, they should take a listen to a clip from the audio book-either on sites that sell the book, or even on the book report's site I mentioned-they have archived recording's of all the shows-it may even lure you into listening to the radio show on the weekend!
Great review, thank you.PetalPixiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06541949005653679021noreply@blogger.com
